Who is Poker, Inc.?
Poker, Inc. represents the combined knowledge of
experienced low-to-mid stakes hold 'em poker players, who as the
commonest of men, desire to share their experiences with the millions of recreational
poker players, both online and live. It is the hope of
Poker, Inc. that the information provided on these pages will
assist all who read it in making their poker play not only more
fun, but more lucrative as well.
Our intent is to cut through the clutter of all of the
poker
books, poker sites, magazines and television shows to provide you
with the clearest path to a more rewarding and enjoyable poker
experience. Whether you play five hours a month or five
hours a
day, low-limit to high-limit, ring games or tournaments,
we believe you will find useful information here.
In addition, Poker, Inc. was born out of the belief that regardless of a
person's current knowledge or skill level in the game of poker,
anyone can learn to become a winner thanks to the glut of
terrible players flooding the online poker rooms today.
This site is meant to serve as a gathering place for ideas,
concepts and strategies to help the every day person learn to
make a secondary source of income from this great game.
The primary contributors to the success of Poker, Inc. are:
Russell Hall - the grinder of the group playing about
10,000 hands (including tournaments) a month despite an
executive level job and a family of five. You will find
him bouncing around the 3/6 and 5/10 tables on just about any of
the larger online poker rooms you visit. He played in his
first WSOP event during 2005 but did not cash.
Brad Randle - the multi-table tournament and
middle limit cash game player of the team. He has several final
table and first place finishes to his credit. A father of
three, he makes his appearances on the 10/20 6-man tables over
at Party Poker late at night.
Bill Randle - the older of the Randle brothers, and
yet another father of three (that must be a prerequisite to
becoming a Poker, Inc. member). Bill bounces all over the
15/30 and 10/20 tables with reckless abandon. His gambling
style has led him to excel at the speed tournaments on Party
Poker, but you won't likely see us endorse those as part of the
Common Man Plan any time soon!
As common men, we do not claim to be professional poker
players or writers; however, we have spent hours researching the
various sites and reading the countless books and magazines and
realize for the recreational player that many important aspects
of poker get overlooked.
So, look through the pages here and drop an e-mail letting us
know what you think. Use the feedback form to tell us about any other features you
would like to see, particularly if you can't seem to find
anything similar on the net. We strive to be a unique
resource to recreational players worldwide and we will do the
research necessary to hit that goal.
Finally, our tagline may read, "Providing aid to the common
man...", but don't think for one minute that we do not
welcome female players into the common man fold. Women
are one of the fastest growing demographic player groups
and several women have quickly risen to elite status - Annie
Duke, Jennifer Harman, Kathy Liebert, and Clonie Gowen are just
four of our
personal favorite greats. So whether man or woman, old or young,
gather up your chips and let's deal!!
